reminisce I found all my favorites at sir george's online today: the cheese enchiladas, the rice, green beans, corn, BBQ ribs, and of course the pasta salad. someone uploaded some pictures online two years ago Looking at the pictures makes me remember all the times i'd go with my family to the sir georges in alhambra because we could eat right away. then, when my brother could drive, my mom would tell us to go there because my parents couldn't eat very much (or were sick of it) anyways. there was a time my mom gave my brother a new credit card, but he didn't know he had to activate it and so when we tried to use it at sir georges during one of the before mentioned sir george's trips, the manager there said it didn't work (but he wasn't a jerk about it or anything, since we went there a lot) so we had to call my mom and she had to come pay for us. then when the place in alhambra closed down, we had to drive all the way over to arcadia and there was this one time where my dad came to pick my up from volleyball practice (or a game I don't remember) but I do remember going there a drinking 3 or 4 cups of coke right away, but since we were next to the waitresses station, the lady filled it up for me right away. I also remember the time when we'd meet on saturday mornings at jonathan's house to go through the disciplines of a godly man and one morning we ended at about 11:30, and someone suggested shakey's bunch of lunch, and i said that sir georges was much better, so all of us ended up going there instead. Its kind of sad to think backwards to sir george's... i think what i need to do is think forwards: I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. I'm waiting! in the mean time, enjoy my mouthwatering favorites.
